However the cost of the game is completely dwarfed by the impending bandwidth overage charges from my ISP. My computer has used ~1TB of data transfer over the last few days. Validated this number by viewing my usage from my ISPs website. My normal usage is less than 100GB per month. Back of the envelope calculation puts that at $140 in overages as my data cap is 300GB a month. Has anyone had any success getting remediation for this type of thing from EA before?
All signs point to get **bleep**, hence why they're trying to bury this thread as quietly as possible. I'm just gonna get my money back, because their outright incompetence and blatant disregard to even actually try to fix this shows how little they care.
@Coptown I hope you are able to get your money back. I'm in this **bleep** up limbo where no only can I not download the game thanks to Origin's incompetence, I also can't get my money back because I bought my key off GreenManGaming.

All week my download Speed for Origin has been <1MB/s and this morning it lept up to >4MB/s which is indicative of an increase in capacity somewhere between me and the EA Origin servers (possibly due to numbers of people giving up downloading from Origin - ) BUT it is still sporadically regressing but at a faster pace now (got up to 25% then regressed to 10%, then finally hit the 16EB issue).
This Monty Python scene seems to mirror the current situation between us and EA.
SpoilerEA being the French in the castle 😉@EA: I preordered this game through your store and thus you are compelled to deliver it in a timely manner, I currently hold you in contempt of Clause 10 of your own Terms of Sale due to the inability of the Origin client software and/or Origin servers to execute delivery of the goods. I do not want a refund, I want the goods I have paid for and I do not care if that means you have to get it to me via other means at your expense (e.g. FTP or DVDs via Courier). How do you intended to deliver me my goods and when?
