I also had better speeds about 3 hours ago for about 3 hours or so and was able to download a decent chunk before it again regressed and now I'm back to the point where it regresses frequently.
This thread has 100+ replies and has been posted in by multiple community managers so they must be looking at it somewhat and be aware we aren't any better off yet. It would be greatly appreciated if they could show some transparency about the issue even if it were to be to say they aren't pursuing a solution at the moment so we at least know and can waste less time.
