Preload Download Progress Keeps Regressing

It would seem it was deleted but not by me, had been trawling through the search results finding related reports to add to the OP and when I tried to submit the edit the post was in some kind of limbo.

I have been contacted by EA tech support and they have requested I run a test for them, so far no positive results but they are working on the issue.

It is a shame that the issue is taking so long to resolve, a similar/identical issue occured in August 2013 which seemed to have been resolved by a client .software update.

With 20/20 hindsight, they may have deleted the thread because I had accidentally thought all the linked threads above were recent but if I had checked the dates more closely one was from a similar incident last year and another was from earlier this year.

Update

EA requested tests turned up no positive results, it is infuriating but I guess we will just have to be patient. My patience is being stretched to breaking point though.
