Preload Download Progress Keeps Regressing

This is weird. Usually when it regresses I pause the download, completely exit Origin and open it again, then resume the download. This recovers some of the progress. But the weirdest thing is, before I unpause it, it shows the progress as if it had never regressed in the first place!
It's like it saves the progress but at the same time it doesn't.
Same thing is happening to me except with Sims 4. My download Gets up to 50% begins to regress until it is at -50% then I get a message that says they are experiencing difficulties and a numberwhich is 262150:131086.
