Preload Download Progress Keeps Regressing

Since this worked for me I will post it here...
Close down Origin completely.
- Create a new text file on your desktop with the following two lines as content:
[Feature] cdnOverride=akamai
- Now save the files as EACore.ini and start the Origin client again. (Make sure that it is EACore.ini and not EACore.ini.txt)
- In order to import the file that has just been created on the desktop, confirm the prompt by the Origin Client with "Yes".
- Now initiate the Dragon Age download once more and report back whether you still experience the same behavior.
Was given this response from one of the forum EA staff and it worked flawlessly. Hope it helps!
Yeah I found the same solution on Reddit as well. But it has not really helped a lot. Sometimes the download would keep regressing 5-10% and other times it would blaze on non-stop.
