Problem running game. Dragon Age Origin

I have reinstalled game. (During attempted repair it stated I would have to do so.) When attempting to play the game, or DLCs the games never load.

The loading screen pops as it should, but it is constantly saying 'loading but never loads.

For more information I had no problem playing the Inquisition trail, worked fine, Dragon  Age 2 works fine.

    Just an update. It is working now. Problem was in the registry....a friend told me about CCleaner, ran it for registry and DAO exe was one that was found. Fixed that, uninstalled and reinstalled again. All good now.I can play.🙂 Thought I'd update.. and thank all who posted and tried to help. 🙂

    Okay I will again. No it doesn't have any effect.

    It simply will not load. And I have let it 'load up to 5 minutes out of curiosity...The game simply isn't responding.

    Can you try running the game in XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode?

    I have tried everything. Reinstall, compatibility, running as administrator. Nothing works. Still cant play.☹️

    Its a shame.....I love this game.

    Just updating post/problem.

    What happens if you uninstall the DLC? Also, is it possible you still have some mods installed from a previous playthrough? These files may be stored in the game's directory under Documents, which doesn't get removed with a reinstall.

    I have not 'installed the DLC as of yet. When I had to have my computer over-hauled, I installed the game again.(through Origin).I had not played it.. wanting to to start with all DLC. I contacted Origin because my content  (DLC) indicated I would have buy it (again???) They fixed the problem.. ( Gave me credits to re-buy as it would be simplest) Dur RL I had not gotten around to installing them in short, they are not installed yet, so that isn't the issue.

    The few mods I really like are the same.. I have them in downloads but have yet to install. My intent was to install one by one and testing.... as I had problems in the past with one or two.

    As a safe-guard... lol.The expansion Awakening is also on hold with last reinstall.

    The only extras I had installed were Th chargen morph compiler ( not not in main game folder) and the Mod manager (again not in main game folder, no) but have since uninstalled and was empty as I had not been able to play game to test mods anyway,

    It appears to load.. but once loaded.. and start screen appears all well and good, but when I try to actually play game.. the game itself simply will not load...game not responding States Task Manager.
