Problem with sera romance quest

i felt like it was talking a long time for me to be able to romance sera, shes aproved of everything ive done and ive goten to the point where we were hanging out on the roof, i also did the dialogue option of i am interested in you along time ago but nothing was happening, so i looked and saw that i had to do the quest a woman who wants for nothing but shes not giving it to me, is there something else that i have to have done to beable to start that or does the fact that ive said i am interested in her multiple time break the quest and if iam past the point of morrigan or me drinking the well is it too late to start a relationship with her? at this point the iam interested option has disapeared from the dialouge choices. 

thanks for any help or ideas. or just letting me know its impossible at this point.

    Make sure to exhaust all dialogue options. I had the same thing happen, i.e. nothing happening, then I clicked the missed dialog and she gained slightly approved, which means her meter got filled to the point where shes available for romance. What you may need to do is get her approval rating higher 😉

    Romanced her into a relation when she first asked the question: 'go to bed now'  there was an option to talk first and do 'that' later, which I pressed, now i'm only able to kiss, and no option for bedstuff.

    Exhausted all dialog aswell apart from the 'you're an elf aswell thingy' which I think leads to dissaproval? Do i need to do this 1 aswell in order to get 'that' option? Btw i think this is pre 'A Woman Wants for Nothing' not sure though.
