Problems with Gamepad Logitech F310

How would I find out if my Logitech Gamepad F310 COntroller is supported. I can't seem to get it to do anything.I am a "NOOB" at this and am just trying to get it setup for my daughter (Birthday Present) before she gets home. Please get back to me ASAP

You may need the correct drivers for that controller to run it first.

I use a Logitech F310. You need to go into the settings under "Controls" and set it from keyboard to gamepad.
