@EA_Shepard I checked the disc and it hasn't been scratched or anything but I did wipe it just to be sure.
I also double-checked the cords on the TV and the console and everything seemed fine.
I'm mostly concerned since it was it was working perfectly fine yesterday.
@Aj_3684 Appreciate the info, so these are tough because it will be a trial and error type thing getting it to work. These are all the steps you would normally take for issues like this.
Possible Causes
Corrupted Save File: The save file you’re trying to load may be corrupted, causing the game to hang during the loading process.
Disc Reading Issues: Even if the disc appears fine, there might be an underlying issue with the disc reader in your PS4.
Cache or System Glitch: A temporary glitch in the system cache or game data might prevent the game from loading properly.
Game Update or Software Conflict: Check for updates on the game, and on the console just in case there is one.
Troubleshooting Steps
Restart the Console Completely:
Turn off your PS4 completely (do not put rest mode).
Clear cache - Unplug it for two minutes. Plug back in, and test it
Rebuild the PS4 Database:
Boot your PS4 into Safe Mode:
Turn off the console.
Press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep.
Select Rebuild Database from the Safe Mode menu. This will not delete any data but can fix corrupted or fragmented game files.
If you have a backup save or a different playthrough, try loading that save to determine if the issue is specific to your current file.
Clean the Game Disc and Console:
While you’ve already cleaned the disc, try cleaning it again with a microfiber cloth but from the center outward.
Use a can of compressed air to clean the disc drive area of your PS4. This was a big one for me since I have pets
Check for Game Updates:
Make sure Dragon Age: Inquisition is fully updated:
Go to the game icon on the PS4 home screen, press the Options button, and select Check for Updates.
Delete and Reinstall the Game:
Back up your saved data to the cloud or a USB or the online storage management
Delete the game from your console.
Reinstall it using the disc and reapply any necessary updates.
Test Without Internet Connection:
Disconnect your console from the internet and then try loading the game offline. This will let you know if it is a network issue since the game checks for data and the keep data.

@EA_Shepard I don't think it's the disc reader because I tried some of my other disc games and they are working just fine.
I'll try troubleshooting based off what you said and see if anything helps.
Should I also try deleting the game and reinstalling it to see if that fixes the problem?

@Aj_3684 it may not be the disc reader at all but it is always listed as a possible issue so we list it simply to have players check. When you are already doing all the other steps, taking a minute to check that never hurts.
Personally, I don't think it has anything to do with your issue, but I say check it because the console is already in front of you.
Honestly, I would reinstall it from the disc yes. If you have the time and it doesn't take you 3 hours to do. Not everyone has the time but if you do, I would.- 1 year ago
@EA_Shepard Alright, thank you so much for the help!
I'll try what you said and hopefully it works. If not, I'll come back.
Again, thank you so much!
