Solved

11 years agoGuys, there's a much simpler solution, and I'm pretty amazed that EA customer support has been giving the advice they have. I had the same issue, and tried every proposed solution here, with no success. I finally thought that maybe when you install the game, it immediately loads up enough content to get you started on a new character, but continues the remainder of the install in the background, which would explain the inability to load up a saved state from deep into the game, and the multiplayer component. Sure enough, I installed the game and left it sitting on the Dragon Age title screen for a couple of hours while I did other things. I came back, closed out of Dragon Age, and then started it up again. All saved games now load just fine, and Multiplayer us no longer greyed out. I hope this works for some others. I was very frustrated.

11 years agoI have tried all of these, and it has been sitting on the title screen for DA: Inquisition for roughly 3 days
- Anonymous11 years agoOk guys, this is the test to see if you're fully installed.
Turn on ps4
Highlight Dragon Age (do not start it)
Hit the options button
Select information
Look for "download status" 45.483 GB
If your there is a number to the left that is lower than 45 gb, and either growing (downloading) or staying at the same number....
THEN YOUR GAME IS NOT DONE INSTALLING. This means multiplayer and game saves from another install will not load. Wait until you have finished downloading (if you bought from the ps store, this may take hours/days depending on how slow you're internet connection is) before giving up hope.
If you are having this problem and can see it is fully downloaded and installed... delete, try again. Make sure your saves are on a usb or backed up online.- Anonymous11 years ago
I have had this issue 2x after much research i discovered that the game is actually installing in the background but there is no where that i have found to show when the game is actually installed. Basically you just have to be really really patient and wait for it to finish installing.
- 10 years agoThis is simply not true. Mine says 53.41 GB, I am able to access one charcter (lvl 4) as well as Multiplayer... But not my main character who is a level 15.
