I also lost the Questmarker on the map but see the demon & no cutscene is triggering.
After that I did all the quests on the map and now I see this is a known bug and the only way described to get this quest closed is to reload an older save => loosing 19h ingame! - that's insane ;(
Hopefully there will be a bugfix soon to get the Questmarker back, there are some places were aou need a better control of the char to get up to the things you need
