Yeah, that didnt work. There some kind of glitch...Solas keeps stating that "theres one of the mages probably killed by bandits..." and nothing ever triggers. I searched the body of the mage and now the game "thinks" I started the quest (quest box is fillied in journal), but the next part never triggers...
Same exact problem on my PS3, two yrs later! Can't believe they never fixed this! So upset! I'm in way too many hours to turn back ☹️
@bellaluna05 Unfortunately the PS3 (and Xbox 360) versions were very bug prone (the systems really couldn't handle the game very well), which is why support was stopped for those systems (no patches or DLC) after, I believe, patch 8. Sorry I don't have better news. Someone familiar with the game on PS3 might be able to provide more help.
Thanks so much for your reply, that's such a bummer! Is it fixed on the PS4? I don't have one yet but one day, I guess I'll have to wait to be able to enjoy the full game ☹️ Bought this way back before it was even out, so called special edition, due to health issues I'm finally getting to play it, hope it doesn't prevent me from being able to finish the game as some people have said!
