I contacted a representative help person for EA...at this point all we can do is try to get noticed! If you can, try to get in contact with a rep via their help page and they'll keep sending it up the chain...he mentioned that because the issue was just on the forums, they might not be aware of it, which is frustrating, but still!

I'm going to contact someone from support today. I just ran into this issue after i finished going through all of the Exalted Plains which took a number of hours, and my last real save was 10-15 hours prior and I really, really don't want to have to go back that long and play through absolutely everything again. I'm hoping there's a workaround or a fix of some kind. I read up on the bug, but everything I've tried just doesn't work.
I really like getting to know companions and doing their quests, so this is pretty disappointing if the only way to fix it at this point is reloading!
Yeah...I went that route. They really are not concerned... Good Luck! I got so frustrated with the bugs that I quit playing about 6 months ago.
