So, I'm playing a Qunari Mage. I've been running around in the Pre-order dlc armor up until now, but I've finally come across a set that has improvements, but when I equip it it does not show ON my character. It moves into the correct slot, but my Qunari is running around in the under-clothes, the armor is 'invisible' as it were.
Pretty glaring bug! Is there anything I can do, right now, to try and fix it?
I'm getting this as well. I've tried three seperate qunari characters and all seem to have this issue. I haven't made it past the Hinterlands, but so far, only variations of the mercenary armour, auto-equipped Haven armour, and Flames of the Inquisition armour appear. New armour that is purchsed in Haven does not show up on the character - it defaults to the beige leisure clothes.
Playing on PC.
I've never had that issue with crafted armor for my Qunari mage, though I tend not to buy armor at all (i use only looted armor or crafted armor). Does the same bug appear with crafted armor for those of you experiencing this bug? It might be a good workaround in the short term if crafted armor doesn't suffer from that bug.
Unfortunately it feels as though Dwarves and Qunari really got the short end of the stick here. It's hard to find armour that will work for them at all and when you do it's always default appearance. I don't LIKE any of the default armours, it would be nice to have some variety for my dwarf and qunari.
So, do I understand correctly?! People can complain 100+ pages that the new patch made their hair shiny, or that their voice changes after meeting Hawke, or about thousand other small, trivial shand insignificant sh*t like this, but nobody mind ( or just a couple of people actually objectt) if there are:
- virtually "zero" unicue armors for qunari;
- there are no unique tatooes for them;
- you can choose 2-3 types of similar armor, for the entire time when you play with qunari and
- not to mention, some of the armor doesn't even show up, when playing with qunari?
So, basically most of the people are absolutely "OK" to run arround for days in one and the same ugly armor...
That's just sad and depresing....

Yeah, it really sucks. The Qunari armor looks like **bleep**.

Why can't my character look like that? The Qunari armor is some of the worst armor I've seen in a video game.
Also, for those of you who want the E3 armor, some people have used cheat engine to change an item to that piece of gear. There's different pieces of gear in the game files that I don't think you can get normally. One guy claims to have changed some armor to the DLC armor because it's in the game files whether you pre-order or not.
