Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition Missing DLL
Cannot launch Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition, which I own for Origin. It says that it is missing a character DLL and will not allow me to launch. It claims there is a license issue when I own the game outright. How can I no longer own a game I personally purchased in Origin?
Whenever I launch Dragon Age Origins-Ultimate Edition I get 'Reason code = Missing DLL: [NxCharacter.dll] Error: 0x7E.'
Is anyone else having this issue launching Dragon Age which they purchased individually from Origin? Why am I no longer allowed to access a game I purchased from EA?
Hey @triplecomb26960.
That error usually means that NVIDIA PhysX isn't installed on your PC. Dragon Age needs it in order to run.
When you've got a chance try downloading PhysX from the NVIDIA website to see if that helps. Let me know how it goes when you can. Thanks!
