Cannot launch Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition, which I own for Origin. It says that it is missing a character DLL and will not allow me to launch. It claims there is a license issue when I own the game outright. How can I no longer own a game I personally purchased in Origin?Whenever I launch Dragon Age Origins-Ultimate Edition I get 'Reason code = Missing DLL: [NxCharacter.dll] Error: 0x7E.'Is anyone else having this issue launching Dragon Age which they purchased individually from Origin? Why am I no longer allowed to access a game I purchased from EA?

Hey @triplecomb26960. That error usually means that NVIDIA PhysX isn't installed on your PC. Dragon Age needs it in order to run. When you've got a chance try downloading PhysX from the NVIDIA website to see if that helps. Let me know how it goes when you can. Thanks! /Kent

I ran into the same issue, but nvidia will not let me install it since I already have a newer version on my pc. Any other suggestions?

@EA_Kent I downloaded and installed the NVIDIA PhysX and now Dragon Age Origin is loading properly. I can play the game!

@EA_Kent Hi, does it matter what processor you have because I have intel and I don't know if it's safe. I get paranoid about downloading things idk about.

@nicensweet3192 It does not matter on the CPU that you have as long as it is better than an Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64. This package is actually an open source physics engine SDK. Meaning that the program (Dragon Age: Origins) has some code that depends on the libraries within it.

I am having the same problem , I have the geoforce experience and drivers, i believe physx as well. Still getting same error. @EA_Kent
