Re: Audio cutting in/out

Okay, Since i use a separate sound card, I disabled the realtek on my mobo through the bios.

In Windows, go the the device manager --> Sound, video and game controllers --> right click and disable any audio device you see that you are not using.

Next, go to the Control Panel and select Sound: Look at all the devices under the "Playback" tab. I disabled anything that my speakers were not connected to.

Restarted just to make sure and double checked that everything was off.

No, not the bios. Go to playback devices . Under sound/playback, it should list all your sound devices. highlight the device you want to disable. goto properties. Right near the bottom, you'll see a drop down menu that has a setting for "Don't use this device and disable" It'll say device usage:
Ok, it's easier then that. Just highlight the device you want to disable. In my instance, it was the AMD HD audio device. right click on it, and disable. Just make sure it's the sound devices that you are not using.

I did that and it didn't solve anything. it's only showing me realtek hd audio devuce and if I disable it then all the sound goes off

I uninstalled realtek then restarted my computer. now it is running with high definition audio device. still the game doesn't work well

It's the sound hardware in my laptop so it unfortunately won't help with the realtek card. ☹️

realtek is integrated, and the sound blaster is either external or internal add on card.

I have Asus xonar sound card and disabling other devices did the trick for me, maybe the game have problem only with onboard sound cards?...

I tried Ipeeblood's solution, and it did not work for me. It only appears to work if you have a sound card installed.

GodAmongUsAS: Onboard audio is the audio device that's built into your motherboard. This is what 99% of people are going to use to produce sound. You can also purchase aftermarket audio devices called sound cards which plug into your computer to produce sound.

Realtek is onboard, yes. I'm also using onboard audio. And no, i have not contacted EA again. As someone previously stated the specialist team is likely on their holiday break. In the meantime, perhaps we should upload dxdiag info to see if there is any overlapping information.

I tried turning off all of my audio except for my Logitech G930 and it is still cutting out on just the environmental sounds as well. I still get cut outs for me so not sure what the problem is. I tried other headsets and speakers but the cut still happens so I am thinking that it must be the game itself causing this. I can play the game but having the wind or voice sounds just cut out for a couple second every 10 - 20 seconds it is driving me crazy so I hope there is an answer soon.

Go to option-> Display and put the game on a window mode. Run tak manager near the game. look at the cpu usage. tell me if the cpu usage % changes when the problem is happening. If you don't know what I mean tell me and I'll guide you through. Also try the fix that was suggested here by user "Ipeeblood" (It didn't work for me but it worked for some)
