Perhaps your firewall is blocking Origin. Maybe you don't have enough hard drive space, Origin servers might have been overly busy and, the connection was timing out. Your ISP might have been very busy causing the connection to time out. You might have a metered connection that has ran out of data allowance or, some other reason for a slow connection that prevents the the download.
