Re: Can't get game to change install location. Bought new SSD :(

@Rajahten11 Have you changed your Origin settings to install games on your preferred drive? To do this you need to go to Origin (menu within the Origin application) > Account settings, then head to the installs & saves tab. Under the 'On your computer' section you will find 'Game Library Location' with the option to change the directory, this is where your games will install. By default it may be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games.

I'll include a screenshot in case I did a poor job of explaining (tends to happen to me a bit 😛 ). If you still have the older version of Origin, it may look a little different. You will still need to go to the Origin menu > Application Settings > Advanced Options (or it may be settings... has been a while).

Just in case, the older version of Origin (you will want to change the path for 'Downloaded Games'):

If that doesn't help, let us know 🙂

Like in that screenshot, I also advise keeping the installers on the hard drive to limit SSD writes, as long as the game itself is installed to the SSD.

I hope you get it working. The game has a few issues that are eliminated when it's installed to an SSD, such as characters that don't load quickly enough.
