Re: DA:I - Dragonslayer info and FAQ
Dragonslayer is available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation®4, and PlayStation®3. You can watch the official trailer here.
1. How much does the Dragonslayer multiplayer expansion pack cost?
You can download Dragonslayer on all platforms for free.
Dragonslayer introduces the brand new Ferelden Castle destination. Prior to the start of the match, you can select one of three elemental dragons to fight, each with their own abilities and impact on the environment.
Dragonslayer adds three new characters to the multiplayer mode roster. Each character brings a unique gameplay style and feel to Dragon Age Multiplayer with brand new abilities and mechanics.
You will find a free chest in the Multiplayer Store containing one of the three new characters. You can unlock the remaining two new characters by crafting their armor pieces in the Armor Crafting screen to bring them into combat. You can also find them in chests in the store as very rare drops.
If you want to fight a dragon in Zone 5 of Ferelden Castle, a party member must craft the Dragon’s Call in the Weapon Crafting screen.
Only 1 Dragon’s Call is required per party, per match. If each player in a party has 1 Dragon’s Call, only the player who interacts with the gong will spend their Dragon’s Call. The other players can hold theirs until the next match to summon the dragon again.
If your party does not summon the dragon you will face off against the enemy faction boss: Red Templar, Venatori, or Demon Commander.
The Dragon’s Call is destroyed at the time it is used to summon the dragon. A party member will need to have another Dragon’s Call in their inventory, or craft a new one, to summon the dragon again.
The dragons will have a presence throughout the Ferelden Castle level, even if they are not summoned for the final combat.
Your party will fight Red Templars, Venatori, or Demons throughout the first four zones of the match. If your party does not summon the dragon for the final zone, you will fight the enemy faction commander.
You can only fight dragons in the Ferelden Castle destination.
The Ferelden Castle destination expands the challenge of each difficulty level. You can create or join Routine or Threatening difficulty matches and experience a challenge that serves as a bridge to the next difficulty level. Perilous dragon fights are recommended for veteran players with high-level characters and item loadouts.
You can find new, high-level dragon weapons in chests in the Multiplayer store.
