yeah but alot of other people are having problems, just because you can download doesn't mean there isn't a problem with the download server for this game, maybe your just the outlier

i have a "copy" of the game that is not tied to origin, so i could install it from there if  this problem isn't fixed, but I really wont to support origin but this just is ridiculous.  all my other games install just fine only dragon age origins is not installing. also contacted ea and they were no help also, only told me that their servers were fine, which doesn't  seem to be the case when people can download this single game. 

I know there is a problem with the download server because i get the error but my packs still download :/

just got off with a Contact EA rep, who's best solution was to restart my pc, flush my dns,  run ccleaner, and run origin as admin 

what I don't get is if there is a problem with the download server why is only dragon age origins effected and not other games, the only other game that I know that is having download server problems is a few of the dlc packs from sim 4

come EA get you stuff together

since EA doesn't seem to be fixing their download server problem; time to install the GOG version

only wanted to installed on origin cause it has my cloud saves on it.
