It's 2015 and this is still happening. There isn't an excuse for there to be no reliable solution to this error. How can EA sit back and let the community figure out solutions on its own without stepping in with a true fix?

I shouldn't have to download dodgy zip files full of DLLs to get a game I paid for working. Disgusting.

I also have DAI which I can't play any longer, I've spent over 8 hours boggling my mind trying every solution under the sun and still no dice, should I be forced to fix EA's broken client? Or should EA take responsibility and fix it themselves? If I end up a month unable to get back into my game then EA has failed us miserably. There IS NO official fix for Origin, they simply broke it once and for all! Now I agree that piracy seems the only solution because of how they do *, now for EA... Are you guys the gaming regime or are do you even f'ing care? I'm not one to get frustrated or lose my cool with people like you, I try to find the bright side but this time around I can't see the forest for the trees with you guys.

same problem here....origin/ea customer service doens't know crap, and keeps referring me to the same articles to reinstall my .net fremework which i have done dozens of times by now. ive' reinstalled the entire windows 0S and still nothing.  reinstalled origin...still nothing.
