Re: Dragon Age Inquisition MSVCP.dll missing?

@AryanAqua Which solutions did you try? You most likely need to reinstall one of the visual c++ redistributables, which you can do by either going to [drive] > Program Files > Origin Games > Dragon Age Inquisition > _Installer > vc (there should be 4 folders inside, each has a redist folder, inside which is an installer) and installing them from there, or by getting the most recent versions from Microsoft here

    Hi,

It still doesn't work for me.

Reinstalled the game, Origin Launcher, all the visual C++ versions from 2008 to 2013 and even 2015 from microsoft site. (Both V86 and v64).

Every thing failed, still the exact same error.

    In Windows 7.

    No, I didn't.

I manage to make the game work but now, it's Smite that doesn't launch anymore.

It seems thes 2 games use the same DLL but not in the same way.

When 1 work, the other doesn't... and it takes me 6h of annoying reinstall between each...

  • its 2021 and the response just helped me get my game running again. Thanks

Glad to hear that's helped out @Ashlizannlar!

Since this thread is quite old I'll be locking it here to avoid additional necroposting, thanks!
