Re: Dragon Age Inquisition PC set to controller mode not working

Try going into My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age Inquisition > Save then open the ProfileOptions_profile file in Wordpad. Scroll down to GstInput.GamePad. There should be a 1 after it. Change it to a 0 then save. When you start the game again keyboard and mouse controls should be working again.

    ITS NOT SOLVED AT ALL.

    This is how to recover from the catastrophic error that occurs when you attemt to select "controller" Its not a resolution to using your gamepad with DA I

  • My PC was stuck in Camera Mode - no pointer or helping hand while playing - but it was there if you went into tactical mode. Your answer allowed me to go into my profile and look at the input modes - GstInput.ForceMouseLook 0 was set to 1. EA Technical help was going to have me uninstall everything and reinstall. Thanks for the help.

    @TxFree102 Thanks for the update post. It's a bit of a necro, but that's very understandable in this case. 

  • Just so that everyone knows - I found a fix. I'm using reWASD to remap my controller, and when I changed the output from "Xbox 360" to "Xbox One", everything works perfectly.
