Re: Dragon Age Inquisition PS4 save games won't load

Hey everyone. I got hit with the dreaded corrupted save on my ps4 about 16 hours into my new dragon age. When you load up the main screen of the game, select load, highlight the corrupted save and try selecting square to change character. When I selected this my character was there and when I clicked into that my original saves were there along with the corrupted one. I loaded my most recent just to make sure it worked and it did. Straight away it exited and updated my save to the psn cloud and set the game to auto update to the cloud. It worked for me so I hope this helps someone else! This really needs to be patched or fixed somehow, it's a really awful bug!!

Hey all, dropping back back in to say that I tried "GildedButterfly"'s method above and I was finally able to access my save games and get rid of the corrupted file. Thanks so much for posting a solution, I was ready to return the game. Again, no thanks EA for not actually addressing this themselves. I'll repost her solution below.

TL;DR - Hit the square button at the load screen to change characters and you should be able to delete any corrupted saves

OMG - you are a life saver - 90 hours in - completionist side quest OCD I'm afraid - could not load after restore and reinstall. Instead of just trying to load game used the square button to change character - there was my profile - clicked on that and loaded save game from there and here I am back in the game! Thanks
  • I made an account just to thank you man over 200 hours was saved because of you although English is not my native language i hope you know how grateful I'm
