    Ummmm... There's no "set-up" required.

    What do you mean? 😕mileyindifferent:

  • Im new to modding in general, but I was told there was some file I had to modify in order to acess the developer tools for this game. Thats what I'm confused about

Ahhh... That's not "modding". That's using the built-in scripts.

With an EA/Origin install you just right-click on the game's title/box cover art and choose "Game Properties",
and then in the "Command Line Parameters" window enter "-enabledeveloperconsole."

That gives you access to a fairly large set of scripts. "Give gold", "add XP", etc.

See the DA2 wiki page for a complete description of them.

I guess I'm getting the script tab up, but everytime i type something in like runscript addxp [1000000] "thats exactly how i typed it too". but nothing happens

There are no brackets in the scripts.  That was jsut to indicate where you need to enter a number.

    Type:  " runscript addxp 10000000 "

But be aware that you'll be overpowering the game...

    From another board's posts:

"The maximum level is 50. To reach it, however, you will need to cheat. Without cheating, you can only expect to obtain between 20 and 25 levels. This is where you should benchmark your builds. There is just not enough experience to be had in the game [itself] even at 100% play through to reach max level. "

believe me when I say that I've already beat this game about 10 times when it came out on Xbox 360 when it originally came out. So now this is the first time I've played on on pc. But thanks for the help

I've updated the game properties in origin, how do I access the keybinding list?
