Re: In the saddle mission not letting me mount horse

Hey, please try fast travelling to the nearby camp, then return and check again.

I have tried the fast travel to nearest camp and then went back to mission still glitched. I can talk to her she says the track is set up I need to mount horse but I am not given option to mount horse

you need to mount YOUR horse, not hers. Bring up the tactical wheel, the bottom icon calls your horse.

I've tried to summon my mount via the tactical ring, but it's blacked out. I've tried several times to start up this quest (I'm on the second race), and I've tried summoning from different locations, nothing. Any ideas or tips?

You can't summon a mount until you complete the quest. "Your" Ferelden Forder is the only horse you can use until then, and first you must learn to ride her.

As SgtDeath80K pointed out, both your horse and Seranna's are in the stable yard. You have to find yours, not hers, to start the course.
