True Grit
Harsh environment training can be dangerous, but will harden anyone into a survivor.
All party members gain a 10% increase to all defenses
But I think it may be bugged for party members other than your main.

I will look forward to a better, truer True Grit on my next playthrough once all the DLC comes in. Thanks also to the others who answered!
I can confirm your observation Deders1980, you must leave Skyhold to see the benefits. Base defenses & resistances for my party members while on a mission changes to 10%.
For any moderators/administrators reading this newly bumped topic from 2015, this topic was the top google result when searching "Dragon Age: Inquisition True Grit" without the quotes, so I'm sure other people will stumble upon this topic too when wondering why they don't see an immediate change to their character stats.
