@MissTuliptus If my post was unclear (I am having a bad brain day, so it's quite likely), what you're describing is perfectly fine. 🙂 Files should not get corrupted by simply moving them around your computer unless something is very wrong. 😉

@Niah_Dark No, it's probably just me. I usually find simpler things in life a bit more more easier, there are things I easily forget too.

So I probably couldn't explain my post in an easy way for a stranger to understand enough. But hopefully, I do think you got the jist of what I was explaining at least.
