Re: [Old Report] Maryden Quest Bug

Sadly, even going to Val Royeux didn't help me. She seemed broken, standing still as anything (no animations), yet sounding as if she were singing and playing music.

Not sure what's going on there. Hopefully her quest isn't too important.

I don't think the quest is super important. I won't say what it is - because I am hoping you will be able to see it in your second playthrough 🙂

But lets just hope a lot of these glitches will be fixed soon.

All you have to do is wait for her to finish her song.

I listened to her in Val Royeaux and had the same problem. So I continued with other quests and when I passed her by and saw, she had her instrument down (not playing), I was able to talk to her and get the quest. Waiting until she finishes didn't work for me either...

I also experienced the bug.  I was able to resolve it by saving and reloading.  Then she was able to converse.  I've had that experience a couple times now, where all I needed was a save/load.  Hope it helps resolve your problem as well.

It's to match up krem and Meriden and from what I found so far.  Cole is supposed to he part of it if you made him more spirit.  I too cannot talk to her either in skyhold or val royeaux but I also made Cole more human. Alas.  Ot was a cite quest on my 1st playthrough
