Can you close it through the main window's dropdown menu? I'm not at my gaming PC right now, so I don't know exactly what it's called.

I agree. I think it's a good step that EA is now releasing more of their older games DRM-free on GOG, but newer games are still Origin exclusives. I think this should definitely not be a requirement in games that are mainly single player. Dragon Age Inquisition even uses third party DRM (Denuvo), so the anti-piracy excuse doesn't hold up.
