You are safe, Josephine is one of the PG endings for romance.
Not sure what you expected to happen at the end of a romance in a Mature rated game, but you shouldn't have an issue with Josie..

It was strictly optional in DA: O, and I don't really play a lot of M-rated games. Did you know you don't even have to kiss Leliana to finish her plotline? I thought that was pretty neat.
But thanks so much for getting back to me. 🙂 Now to motivate myself to redo 30 hours' worth of gameplay... and hope I get lucky enough to find multiples of just the gear I was looking for, all over again. >_>
Got to say, if you managed to make it through the scene at the, I guess Grotto is best term, with Cassandra then that is the last time you will run into anything that would make you uncomfortable in that romance. Each character gets a "ending romance scene" that can be from PG to R depending on the character, and in Solas' case, kinda heartbreaking/infuriating.
Psh, Solas is an apostate who sympathizes with Fade spirits.
...Who just got me a pretty cool castle, so I guess I should stop antagonizing him. But that doesn't mean I have to like him. ;P
