Re: Return to Ostegar DLC (Ultimate Edition) (PC)

Where are you within the game? (RtO will not be available until after Lothering)

Have you tried enabling the DLC with a clean save?

- Under "Downloadable Content" deactivate the DLC.
- Load your saved game; if a notice appears because the DLC isn't activated force load the save.
- Once the game has loaded make a clean save.
- Exit back to the Main Menu.
- Go back into your "Downloadable Content" and activate the DLC.
- Return to the Main Menu and load your new save.

If you are past the Lothering quest line the quest (A King's Confidant) should appear and "Bann Loren's Lands" should become available on your world map.

I just tried it and it didn't seem to do anything. Disabling it meant I had to force the save, so it reads that something should be there right? I am way past Lothering so I should see the lands on the map.

Yes, when you disable a DLC and then load a save where it had been enabled the game will throw up a warning and ask if you want the DLC enabled; forcing the load and then saving should clear the DLC marker.

Yeah. I did that and saved after the forced load. Then enabled it and loaded up that save and nothing.

have you verified in your, (documents/bioware/offer) that you had the files needed to activate it? and I'm not talking of the dlc file, there's a second one who activate it for exemple the stone prisonner one is DAO_PRC_OCP_2 you need those kind of files.

Going to documents/ bioware/dragonage/offers there is nothing in the folder. The file nomenclature is familiar though as it looks like the files I had to maunally download.

if they look the same it's normal the game file is ''CP'' while the file that activate it is ''OCP'' (for offers, I guess). So I'll give you the files you might have to find...

    DAO_PRC_OCP_2 is the stone prisoner

    DAO_PRC_ONRX_1 is Warden's keep

    DAO_PRC_OCP_1 is return to ostagar

You REALLY need those files in order to play those DLC, that's what happen with my stone prisoner DLC. When you get them you'll have to manually install them just like you've done for the main files.

(sorry for english mistake, still learning)

I have manually installed them and can play the other dlc but nothing is in that folder. From what I was reading I should have Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep in there at least right?

First the only file you might find in the offer file are the 3 that I've talk to you about. All others DLC don't have an offer file cause they don't need it, so it's normal that you can play some DLC even if the offer file is empty.

What's happening is, for example the stone prisoner (since that's what happened to me), when I download it from social bioware, it gave me the main file which was DAO_PRC_CP_2, which is a dazip files, so have manually installed it, but for some reason it didn't gave me DAO_PRC_OCP_2 (the offer one) which is also a dazip, those are two different files that you need to install separately, and when it is, you will see that file in the offer one.
