Re: "save data was created with a newer version of the game"

@emilowlgame Was your old save from the computer where you once had that one mod? If it was the old style of mod (non frosty), you likely changed the number in your 'package.mft' file- this is what causes the 'save was created with a newer version' issue. Easy enough to check, go to your game install folder (for me it's in Origin Games, but I don't know with the EA app), Update > Patch, open package.mft with notepad an increase the number by one. Then try loading your save. Don't forget to revert it if it doesn't fix your issue (else you'll have this issue with any new saves in future).

@Leora85 Thanks for your answer. I have to be honest, I'm not sure if the installed mod was on the last computer or the one before that. I'm aware me not remembering or knowing some of this stuff might make helping me a bit difficult, apologies for that. I tried changing the number like you suggested, however that did not help.
