FYI, what I am sure Fred would have said is that it's related to the capabilities of the hardware. When you have low quality video, you cannot choose High and/or Ultra settings.

I don't think there are restrictions like that in the PC version (unlike Dragon Age 2). Even on a slow PC you should be able to set shader quality to high, even if it's not advisable.
- ApprovedAnonymous10 years agoI have to agree here. A friend of mine has a PC that doesn't even meet the minimum requirements of Inquisition but she can still put the shader quality to high and it works just fine as long as most of the other graphic options are on low quality.
