Funny thing is I managed to beat Pride Demon on Nightmare, however I had to use a lot of kiting and all my pots. But I totally agree to your points. 

Besides that game release is filled with hardware bugs, everyone has SLI problems, there are sound issues during dialogues and cutscenes, FPS limit to 30 FPS so game starts to stutter and burn my eyes, luckily people found a workaround for that, black screens, CTD and many more, which I am sure will be fixed in next few patches. However Tactics system and healing I am not so sure.

Since DAO Bioware seems to try to reinvent the wheel. That never ends well.

Pfft, who needs healing in this game... and they wont release healing dlc bc its core of gameplay, and healing will be like cheat where no one can kill you

Now as for the hardware bugs I'll have to admit that I've yet to run into any of them on my pc version. Of course I'm running an I 7 6 core pc with 16 gigs of ram and an AMD 7950 graphics card have yet to even have the game crash or freeze;

I am curious how you managed to kill the pride demon and on nightmare? Are you playing console or Pc and have you fround any of the pre order items yet?

I like the removal of healing but the tactics thing is just poor. II cant seem to get my tank to play well without having to manually control msot of her actions. And as im playing as a melee character i need to micro him alot tooo!

In the previous games i could just set my dps to target the weak enemies (ranged/mages normally) and my tank to focus on the tougher enemies. Here you cant do much.

The invention of guard and barriers caused them to remove healing I'm sure. Why? Who can say. First though it so you don't feel forced to have a healer. Well, you still feel that having a tank is basically mandatory and barriers are too useful, so you end up in the same situation as before.

I also agree they messed up on the tactics options. Let us have the option of both.

Stop trying to appeal to everyone at once. It doesn't work.

I agree to the above posts that healing could have been removed if we had a proper AI for companions and ability to fine tune the tactics. However in the current state, when your mage and ranged champions are fighting near the tank and get hit literally by everything. When a boss fight turns into evey 2 sec spam of Pause and manually positioning your allies and so on....

In this state we NEED healing magic. It is unplayable without it. I tried to play on nightmare, impossible, I tried on hard ( which is a shame for me as I always played on hardest ) more doable but still too teeming as you need to run back and forth all the time the refill the pots, and eventually I came to normal difficulty, which is more or less playable in the current state of the game. 

Who was testing this? I would like to speak with person that was responsible for cutting out healing magic, screwing up with tactics, and in general creating the current state of the gameplay. That person should get fired asap as he is not fan of series and he hates Dragon Age.
