Replaced motherboard on laptop, can no longer verify I own EA games

Working on an ASUS ROG Strix Hero 2.  Recently had an issue with battery drivers, ASUS replaced the motherboard on the laptop.  After receiving the machine back, I can no longer connect to EA's verification servers to verify I own their games (at least, that's what the error messages look like).  Issue is consistent across the Steam versions of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Jedi: Fallen Order, and the Origin version of The Sims 4.  Set up is standard, with exception that the games are installed on an external, USB connected hard drive, which was the set up prior to the repairs and had no issues at that time.  Steps I have tried:

-Turning the laptop on and off

-Uninstalling and reinstalling all three games, Origin, and Steam

-Uninstalling third party antivirus programs, and disabling native Windows antivirus

-Disabling firewalls on both the laptop and my Xfinity router

-Booting computer in Safe Mode with Networking (could not connect to external hard drive in this state)

-Creating a second administrator account on the laptop and running the games there.

-Putting the games on internal hard drive, and running the games from there.

I've attached the two UOTraces that were run, and my dxdiag files is here: http://hastebin.com/xatasagubi.yaml.  Any ideas?

  • You have a crash or two for wlanext.dll, which is part of windows wireless networking.  Two things I would try are, reinstall all drivers related to your wireless adapter and a sfc/scannow scan of your PC looking for windows issues.  As an alternate, if you can hook up to the internet via a wired connection, it may also fix the issue.

I have also seen this issue crop up from time to time when certain internet providers and some colleges place limits on the internet and such.

Thank you for the suggestions, mcsupersport.  Unfortunately, fresh installs of the wireless adapter drivers did not fix the issue, and a sfc scan shows no corrupted files.  Previously have attempted using a wired connection, but still no change.

I'm currently on an Xfinity home network, and if there are limits on the internet they aren't interfering with anything else.
