Rift Mage Specialisation

I've been gathering materials for my Rift Mage Specialisation. I've gotten all Venatori Tomes however, even though i've Ring Velvets in my inventory, the quest counter doesn't seem to update and it stays at 0/10 despite have many more in my inventory. 

Another thing, after the quest Wicked Eyes and Wicked Heart, the object i've obtained from Solus, the "way of rift mage" book has disappeared from my inventory and whenever i go to try and craft the Rift Mage Tome, it shows it as  0/1. Really want to have my specialisation as Rift Mage however there's so many bugs and issues concerning them.
