- Anonymous11 years agoI have some that glitch out and don't fall down dead after the die. The just freeze in place but they aren't dealing damage either. I take it that is not your problem?
Nope, they're still running around trying to kill me. No matter how many times I shoot my arrows at them they just don't die.
I had that problem, pre patch.... if you see enemies with red skulls on them, rather than a blue, white or yellow 4-point marker on them,
it just means you went into an area before you were supposed. And the enemy might be really, really, tough, or immune.
If you can get at least on of your party members far enough away (under your control) the others will revive, and disengage....
just go to another area, or fast travel to a camp, or another region on the world map, like Haven.
No I'm lvl 7 in the Hinterlands. It's the very first place you go. They're the same level or even lower than I am. Nothing you said was even close to what I am experienceing. I don't know where you came up with that but... not!

ok, have you been ineracting with teh fade rifts, between waves of creatures? (dumb question, but...)
if not, like the pride demon in the tutorial section, they could be immune...
also, have you upgraded your party members armor and weapons? (another dumb question, I know, but still...)
if you are able to interact with the fade rift either between waves, or while your party members are fighting, if you are able to get it to react, it will weaken them for short time, until the next wave, or until you are able to close it.
maybe your difficulty level is too high for you... maybe going down a level... from nightmare to hard.. etc.
None of these either, it's the game, it's bugged out. This has nothing to do with a knowing how to play the game. The mechanics of this game are so simple. How would you even think it's a L2P issue. I caught on to this game just as fast as I turned it on. Been gaming since 1982 man, I'm old. BUGGED!!!!!!!!
Apologies for trying to help.......
I've been gaming since the first apple 2c came out.
I'm old too....
I admit that the game is seriously buggy, but I have only run into the issues I mentioned.
Tried both directX with dual gtx760 DCUII OCs) and got tired of crashing,
And went to mantle on my backup rig with dual R9-270 DCUII OCs...
I'm still running into a few mission glitches, and rendering bugs, but nothing like what you've mentioned.
Shout out to the geezer gamers! I've been gaming since Zork and remember when MUDs were cool.
And a question -
You guys mention patches, but I haven't seen patch one and I'm on PC. I look every day in vain. Are you on PS4 or another platform?
The worst problem I have is Cullen disappearing, and the occasional CTD. CTDs are better now that I took the GeForce optimized settings instead of what I had. Before that, it crashed regularly. Sometimes I had monsters die and remain upright and animated. But they were dead.

I play on PC. your game should have updated automatically on Tuesday.
try right clicking on the game inside the origin app, and selecting update.
if you don't get any resluts, try a game repair. *results
if that doesn't work, try deleting the origin cache files.
here's how,
1.) log out of, and close origin.
2.) make sure "show hidden files and folders" is checkmarked in folder options.
3.) delete the origin folder in these 3 locations.
a.) c:\users\%username%\appdata\local\
b.) c:\users\%username%\appdata\roaming\
c.) c:\programdata
4.) empty your recycle bin
5.) restart origin, and LET IT FINISH VERIFYING YOUR GAMES (*this may take a long time)
6.)launch the game and see if yo ustill are having the same issues.

Please go into tactical camera, and then check your monster level by poiting your cursor to the monster.
This is probaly not a bug. Its just simply you are under level and the damage you dealt is too low to be noticed.
Take note that Hinterland might be your 1st region to explore after the prologue, but the game got whole lots of quest interacting with every region.
So Hinterland do have monster higher than Lv7. (The 1 i remember is the rift near to the Farm, it come with Lv12 demon)
