I don't have a console so, no idea where they store saved games or if they have user accounts like computers but, if they do, might it be under another account?
As for any wartable mission taking weeks to complete - NO none take that long. A few do take a full day (close to 24 hours) but not weeks. Depending on how often you check, it may take a week to complete a series of operations that lead to a desired outcome. (Like getting the Royal Sixteen mout for an elf inquisitor) but, no single mission takes weeks to complete.
