Show Off your Best Inquisitor

Awesome idea to showcase our Inquisitors—creating them is one of my favorite parts of Dragon Age: Inquisition! Here’s my contribution:

Character Name and Background

Name: Kaelyn Lavellan
Race/Class: Dalish Elf, Dual-Wield Rogue
Backstory: A scout and hunter from a remote Dalish clan who harbored a deep curiosity about the ancient Elves. Kaelyn’s connection to the Fade was seen as both a blessing and a curse within her clan, which made her hesitant to trust humans but curious about the larger world.

Appearance

Kaelyn has auburn hair in a braided crown, pale markings of her clan's vallaslin, and piercing green eyes. She often wears sleek, dark leather armor with glowing glyphs, perfectly suited for quick, shadowy strikes.

Personality and Choices

She’s pragmatic but compassionate, striving to protect the vulnerable while keeping her clan’s survival close to her heart. Kaelyn leaned toward mending relations with the Qunari but wasn’t afraid to draw the line when the Inquisition’s goals conflicted with her principles.

• Major Choice: Saved the mages at Redcliffe but negotiated for their independence. Sided with Briala in Halamshiral, viewing her as a kindred spirit.

Favorite Moments

• Facing the Nightmare in the Fade, showcasing Kaelyn’s inner strength.
• That heartfelt moment where Solas teaches her about ancient elven culture—followed by bittersweet tension as she confronts his secrets.
• Leading the final charge against Corypheus with her dual daggers glowing.
