Solas Personal Quest 'All New, Faded for her' not triggering

Are you playing a female elf? They are the only ones who can romance him. 

As for the quest, if I remember correctly it's initiated after  conversations in Skyhold. I take it that you've exhausted all his dialog?

yes i am playing as a female elf and yes i have exhausted all his dialogue. I have also done the quest measuring the veil. Also he is greeting me like I am friends with him.

i also bring him everywhere with me and ask questions making his approval go up and using the walkthrough to make the decision that gets me approval from him. I am at least almost 50hr into the game.

My husband is having the same issue currently. All dialogue is exhausted and his approval is on max, but the quest just won't trigger. It's really annoying.

Edit: I never had this issue myself, though.

I'm having this exact problem as well. I've maxed out his approval and completed the fade kissing scene, but his dialogue options as this point only offers to talk about Coryphyeus. I'm thinking something triggers this glitch in the game. Maybe trying to go back and reloading older saves until his personal quest can be triggered might work. I tried this but unfortunately I didn't keep a save that went back far enough, too bad too- I was looking forward to his romance :-/
