Soldier's Peak - Bug?

I have encountered a bug near the end of the Soldier's Peak quest, when I have to defend either Sophia or Avernus while they seal the rift. Problem is, the NPC will simply stand in place and the batt...

I was stuck at that point as well but I found something of a work around, have a mage character shoot a fireball or some aoe attack that pushes people and you can move him or her to where the script kicks in. I found this out while playing a mage and gor frustrated with him, I was surprised when the encounter started.

Wow, I can't believe it but I got it working.

So the game wouldn't recognize "escape" commands while Sophia was walking towards the circle, but it would pause with "space" commands. Well, after unpausing she just stopped at her normal place. Back the drawing board right? Nope, apparently it worked for me after pausing while she was walking, saving the game, and then loading that save. She then made it to the circle.

That worked for me. I paused as she walked to her spot. Saved it (not a quick save) then reloaded and then it was ok.
