[SOLVED] CTD (constant) loading Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts mission

Dear all,

I have constant CTD when attempting to enter the 'Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts' mission. I start it from the war table, select the party, it starts to load and when the tip cards disappear and the game goes into black screen with loading icon flashing, the loading icon just stops flashing at some point and after a few seconds the games CTDs (no messages or anything). I tried to start it selecting different party members or picking much earlier saves (like 20 game hours before), tried repairing the game as well - still no luck. As you can guess I am stuck in my walkthrough. I am 79 hours into the game by now... I try not to think of what will I do if it turns out the game is broken for me. 🙂

Otherwise the game is very stable for me and I have no CTDs whatsoever since I started playing. I am on PC, AMD r9 r290x, Win7 64, Deluxe edition, English, mantle, playing with a gamepad.

I wonder if anyone can help?

Solved by droppin resolution from 5920x1080 (I play multi-monitor) to standard 1920x1080 and switching from gamepad to keyboard and mouse. Mission loaded just fine. Not sure which one did it, I guess - the resolution.

I can confirm it is a resolution issue. Even after cutscene the game won't load any savegames in Winter Palace if the resolution is set to 5920x1980.
Guessing by the map outlook which is different from other locations I guess the Winter Palace was made either much earlier or much later than the rest of the game, which runs fine so far no matter the res, hence the CTD.
