Houston - we have a problem.
I'm going to monitor as well, I just looked at my Samsung EVO SSD. The total read/writes is absurd.
EA may very well have to answer for the excessive wear and tear on my drive. It is well beyond acceptable. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Keep this thread alive and publicize at your leisure. I'll be monitoring this thread with interest.

Community ManagerI can understand a fairly high amount of reads but would not expect a similar amount of writes. I assume no other processes are running in the background such as dowloads/torrents etc?

it may answer your question,
specifiaclly about misallocation of resources.
the game may be misidentifying the SSD.
