Please clear your temp files:
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
- Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
- Now your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
(If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)
Then: - Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
- Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall EA app.
- At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "intensive" > Browse.
- If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
- When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All (Make sure the "Origin Games" folder is not in the list) > Delete.
- Restart the PC
- Download a new EA app setup exe from here.
- Install EA app
- Restart the PC > Test.
If that don't helps please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

I thank you for your kind reply, but no go. Are the servers even still active? Does anyone know?
Does anyone else want to take a stab at this issue?
This is a fairly new computer, so I don't really think the problem is in the graphics card or sound card since the problem states that the servers are slow/nonresponsive.
BTW, as far as being online, I'm hard-lined into the modem, so there's that troubleshooting step over with.
My opinions aside, this was asked for, so here it is:

Please provide a screenshot of the error message.
The DAi Servers are still online, but I can't say where the error is coming from without the screenshot.
Did you restarted your router?
There are many Windows Update errors in your DxDiag, please check your update history to see when the last update was installed.

I reset the router regularly. I cannot get a copy of the screen dump to load here, but the error is coming from the EA app. It says, "Error: Server time out. The server took too long doing its server thing. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again later."
