[Steam] Game Crashing After Character Creation

Does anyone know how to solve this? just got the game via Steam, running as administrator, firewall/antvirus off, tried running on low graphics.. keeps crashing after character creation, as it ...

@EA_Shepard i tried so far with female characters only... custom and standard quickstart

Can you go to C:\Users\user\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters and see how many characters you have listed?

Can you move the character folder to the desktop?

Verify the files again

Launch the game - create a mock character

see how far it gets before crashing

    @EA_Shepard my games stay on another hd... would it work ?

      @xFacinhAx That could be a part of the issue too. It is possible that the game is trying to load a save it cant recognize. There is only one way to test that one.

        @EA_Shepard everything thats software , asde operational sys, stays on a second hd. i was playing the game few months back.
