Storyline glitch

Hello.

As a big fan of the mass effect trilogy and the SW KOTOR games, I decided to play dragon age originais.

On my Dragon age origins story playthrough, Alister was crowned king, Loghain was killed, and soon after, Alister gave his life by killing the blight dragon.

Happy with the experience decided to play dragon age II.

On Dragon age II, I imported the story lore from dragon age origins but Alister and Loghain were both alive. Alister even shows up as king and we had a conversation during the qunari conflict.

    I'm afraid the suggested might not be enough, I am playing on Xbox and opening the origins on the console or gamepass streaming keeps the same status, as so, I think the local savegame file should be compete.

    Anyway I had some unexpected free time so I haven't stop and continued despite the story deviation.

    I am now part of the "Inquisition" , allow me the joke, I won't be able to follow this issue now, but thank you for the effort.

    When importing a save file in Dragon Age II, the game allows you to import incomplete save files. I don't know how far back you can go when selecting a save file, but I think it's possible to import an incomplete file where the game then fills in the blanks.

    Is it possible this is what happened in your playthrough?
