I'm stuck in the game. One of my characters is falling infinitely. I can't switch to another character, pull up the main menu. I have to exit the game and use windows to hard kill the program. Then loading back in, clicking continue takes me to the same spot. I can probably just load an older saved game, but there really should be a simple fix for this. Suggestions?
Are you on PC or a console? You can try setting the tactical cam to pause immediately, and to activate on zooming out to maximum distance. This should engage the tactical cam when you zoom out on your character and pause on doing so. Hopefully this will allow you to switch characters. Or try issuing a move order to the falling character.
You can also try using one of your abilities, or using a potion/bomb, something that will require an animation to interrupt the falling.
