Any mods installed? (The "Improved Origin Items" mod is known to cause this issue.)
Do you have the 1.05 Patch installed? (Last I knew, Steam didn't give you this one automatically.)
How would I install this if I have it on steam? When I try and install it it tells me I have to go through the steam client, but steam is supposed to automatically update your game. I had an issue where the other night when I was in Lothering my game crashed as I was trying to leave the Chantry. Then when I tried to reload the save the game kept crashing. I finally mananged to get the game to load my saves again by turning all of the graphics to their lowest settings, but I apparently lost all my time spent in and before I went into the Chantry. Kind of annoying. :/
