Stuck with Rage Demons, impossible !! Can I avoid ALL RIFTS ??

First of all, I've never played a Dragon Age game before, due these ugly tactical things to fight.
Because this is the only game, where you can also fight in real time, I've gave it a try.
Everything did go well, until I get now 2 Rage Demons at the same time. I'm level 7.
My whole party is dead in seconds. I even don't get enough time to heal them.
And pls don't ask me, to use tactics. As you can read above. I hate such tactical systems. (I avoid all such games) !!
1) Can I avoid ALL RIFTS from now on ? And do them all after each-other almost on the end of the game ?
I'm not gonna try a RIFT anymore, because It's hopeless.
2) Just forget this part of the world, and move on where these zombies or so are ?
I only hope that it's not so freeking difficult as with these RAGE Demons.

Some of the Rifts in the Hinterlands are too high at the start of the game. You need to do the ones you can and come back to those later on when you have gained a few levels. Those were the only ones I recal having issues with but there might have been a handfull of others but I can't recal them so they must not have been an issue to me. But the few in the Hinterlands caused me problems until I realised I didnt need to finish every quest/mob in that zone at the beginning.
Go to the War table and open up a few zones. Do some quests/kills in them and gain a few levels before comming back to quests/mobs that were tough.
